meslin, fr. miscellane. See Miscellane.]
1. A mixture composed of different materials; especially:
(a) A mixture of metals resembling brass.
(b) A mixture of different sorts of grain, as wheat and
rye. [Written also meslin, mislin, maselyn,
mastlin.]
