Fremitus Frem"i*tus, n., sing. & pl. [L., a murmuring, roaring.] (Med.) Palpable vibration or thrill; as, the rhonchial fremitus.
Rhonchial fremitus
Rhonchial Rhon"chi*al, a. (Med.) Of or pertaining to a rhonchus; produced by rhonchi. Rhonchial fremitus. [L. fremitus a dull roaring or murmuring.] (Med.) A vibration of the chest wall that may be felt by the hand laid upon its surface. It is caused in the production of rhonchi in the bronchial tubes.

Vocal tube (Anat.), the part of the air passages above the inferior ligaments of the larynx, including the passages through the nose and mouth.
