Oke Oke, n. [Turk. okkah, fr. Ar. [=u]k[imac]yah, wak[imac]yah, prob. fr. Gr. ?, ?, an ounce, fr. L. uncia. Cf. Ounce a weight.] 1. A Turkish and Egyptian weight, equal to about 23/4 pounds. 2. An Hungarian and Wallachian measure, equal to about 21/2 pints.
