Adulterating Adulterate A*dul"ter*ate, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Adulterated;
p. pr. & vb. n. Adulterating.] [L. adulteratus, p. p. of
adulterare, fr. adulter adulterer, prob. fr. ad + alter
other, properly one who approaches another on account of
unlawful love. Cf. Advoutry.]
